Homefinder UK expands to offer training and employment opportunities for tenants
Homefinder UK is expanding its services by offering access to training and employment opportunities for home seekers. This expansion reflects a more holistic approach aimed at empowering home seekers, particularly those in the private rented sector, who often face significant challenges with cost of living and housing stability.
For many individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness, securing suitable housing is often just the first step – finding stable employment, affordable childcare and other support needs can make maintaining tenancies increasingly difficult, leading to a cycle of instability.
Homefinder UK recognises these challenges and has taken proactive steps to address them by partnering with leading training and employment providers.
Saira Hospitality, transformative training opportunities in hospitality
Homefinder UK is excited to partner with Saira Hospitality to give individuals with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the hospitality sector
Saira Hospitality partner with hotels to create pop-up schools that provide training for local communities, equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to build a career in hospitality
In doing so, they create dedicated and engaged workforces, improve community diplomacy, and reduce staff turnover for hotels, while providing life-changing employment opportunities for those who need it most. To date, 418 graduates have successfully completed the training programs.
The Digital College, unlocking career potential with entry level courses
In addition to hospitality training, Homefinder UK is working with The Digital College, which offers entry-level courses designed to unlock new career possibilities across different fields.
These courses equip applicants with the entry-level qualifications they need to secure jobs, which in turn helps them achieve the financial stability necessary to sustain secure housing.
The Digital College also offers flexible learning options, ideal for individuals facing additional barriers such as childcare responsibilities or transportation challenges.
Homefinder UK’s integrated approach to housing, training, and employment
Homefinder UK’s expanded services mark a significant step toward addressing the complex realities of modern housing challenges. By combining housing assistance with training and employment opportunities, we help to provide a pathway for clients to not only secure housing but thrive in it.
